A Table / La Cantine du Faubourg

Choose Your Menu At The Super Chic Cantine du Faubourg

One of the trendiest tables in Paris, La Cantine du Faubourg, thrives upon the success of its winning formula, which includes a deliciously devilish design in deep shades of velours, coupled with a decadent array of video screens sporting moving images of illustrious creatures, a large open kitchen that looks out onto the dining room, a reliable menu of tradtional tastes, and best of all, a private dining room reserved for intimate occasions.

Located on the sophisticated Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, La Cantine du Faubourg is the address of choice for a select portion of the Parisian population.  An evening at La Cantine is much more than just another dining experience.  The sophisticated setting leads to a dashing den of inequity in the basement, decorated with low lighting and lush couches in the salon, large video screens that cover the walls in the dining area, showcasing the latest in contemporary creation, and a bar that brightens up after work every night of the week.  The evening menu is ‘à la carte’ and offers a traditional choice of international  items to satisfy nearly all tastes at nearly all hours, as the kitchen stays open until 1 am, while the lunch menu offers ‘une formule’ for €20 and entices one to choose between the ‘reasonable’ menu of Green Tea, Salad and Fromage Blanc or the ‘greedy’ menu of Soda, Chesseburger and Chocolate Cake.

The recently opened Bar du Faubourg, designed in the same vein as the restaurant, sits on the street at 109 Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré.  Open from noon to midnight, Le Bar is a great place to stop for lunch, featuring a wide choice of sandwiches, starters, Bo Bun’s, salads and finger foods.   Happy hour begins at 6h30 pm with a musical cocktail, in a cosy atmosphere, perfect for taking the edge off after a long day.
